A technically literate student population is crucial to the success of the United States. It results in a stronger, more skilled workforce, fosters competition with foreign nations and boosts contributions to local, state and national economies.
The TRDA knows that highly-skilled teachers are the critical link in shaping the minds of students. Therefore, the organization sponsors two STEM (science, technology, engineering and math-based) programs that provide valuable technology training to teachers.
These programs provide Florida teachers the tools they need to spark and sustain student interest in math and science, while improving reading and technology skills. The result – technically literate students!
