Through the H1-B Grant Initiative, the TRDA provides up to 50 percent of the funding necessary to train American workers who are manufacturing innovations or who are employed by advanced manufacturing technology companies. This interactive training – which includes everything from technology transfer and commercialization to mentoring and research – helps ensure these workers have the most current and cutting-edge skills needed to compete in the world marketplace. Training is offered solely for workers in a variety of engineering specialties, as well as chemists, physicists, mathematicians, life sciences researchers, systems analysts, programmers and Web masters.
